2004 - The harvest A young girl picks flowers while several nearby geese watch at the outskirts of a forest. This small, oil-based painting on canvas was artfully created in a pastoral style. On the left side of the foreground, a shock of wild flowers seem to dance under a light wind. On the right, three geese are obviously curious and interested to get a closer look. Further along the path, a young woman with a basket gathers her flowery treasures. In the background, some darker, thick trees border the seemingly endless path. This gorgeous painting shows a peacefully animated scene where nature, animals and humans all seem to be gather with a common goal under a the veil of a green and orange glow. |
