2004 - Landscape: The day we celebrate Earth Landscape of the Earth's birthday. An orange tinted landscape. Soft impressionism is the style of this oil-based, warm canvas painting that shines with emotion. Taller russet and greet trees stand along the left side of the painting, watching over rolling hills full of golden underbrush and a meandering stream. Red underbrush lines the ground, which folds into brightly colored daisies that smack of new growth and burgeoning beauty. Sandy shores along the right side of the creek lead to wide spans of open space and trees that define the lines in the landscape. This womb-like painting shows the ebb and flow of the earth through a crimson lens. |
